I offer massage therapy treatments of several different lengths to accommodate different needs. In general, the more areas of the body you want to include and the deeper you want me to work, the more time we’ll need.
I recommend booking at least 60 minutes for your initial appointment to allow enough time for a discussion about your health status and goals for treatment, in addition to hands-on massage time. If you'd like more guidance about what length of treatment to book, please contact me.

POLICIES
Health History
There are some local (eg. recent bad sunburn) and systemic (eg. episodes of fainting with unknown cause) conditions that can make it unsafe for you to get a massage. When you book your first appointment, you’ll be emailed a Health History form that asks about conditions that may require us to postpone or modify aspects of your treatment. It’s important that you fill this out accurately and completely so I can ensure the treatment is safe and effective for you, and to avoid surprises on the day of the appointment. Your health history information will be kept confidential, and can’t be released to anyone without your written consent, or as required by law.
Direct Billing
I offer direct billing to most insurers. If you want me to submit claims on your behalf, please be aware that there are some consent forms I’ll need you to fill out in person when you arrive for your first appointment. Arriving 5 minutes early will give us time to set up direct billing without cutting into your treatment time. There are sometimes issues that arise during direct billing, such as claims denied by your insurer, deductibles or partial payments. Some insurers may require a prescription to approve a massage therapy claim. As such, please don’t book an appointment unless you are prepared to pay for it yourself. I’ll always provide you a receipt after treatment that contains my license number and other info you’ll need to submit to an insurer yourself.
Payment
In order of preference, I accept payment via: e-transfer, cash, direct billing to your insurer, debit, Visa, Mastercard. I provide a printed or emailed receipt at the end of your treatment. Please note that payments for missed appointments can't be submitted to your insurer for reimbursement.
Cancellations + Rescheduling
If you’re unable to make it to your appointment, please give as much notice as possible. At least 48 hours is preferred. Cancellations or rescheduling with less than 24 hours’ notice will be subject to the full cost of the appointment at my discretion. If you experience any symptoms of an infectious respiratory condition (ie. runny nose, coughing unrelated to a known cause like allergies) in the days leading up to your appointment, please call or email me to reschedule. If you’re feeling unwell for any reason on the day of your appointment, please don’t hesitate to call and cancel. As long as it’s a rare occurrence and you call to let me know, you won’t be charged for appointments missed due to illness. No-call no-shows will be subject to the full cost of the appointment at my discretion. Unfortunately, insurance companies do not reimburse for the cost of a service that didn’t take place, so cancellation fees must be paid for out-of-pocket before another appointment can be booked. In the rare event that I need to reschedule our appointment, I’ll contact you by your preferred method as soon as I know.
Late Arrival
If you’re going to arrive late, please call or text to let me know (when you can do so safely). If you don’t arrive at your scheduled time, I’ll call you at least once to check in. After 20 minutes have passed, if I haven’t heard from you, it will be billed as a missed appointment. Please note that in order to accommodate all my clients, appointments must end at their scheduled time. Therefore, I'm unable to offer extra time to late arrivals.
Accessibility
Unfortunately, the building my office is in is not physically accessible for clients who use mobility aids, as there is a small flight of stairs you must climb to enter the office. If you require accessible services, please email me for more information.
